Tutoring With Dustie Lynch
Dustie has had multiple careers, from accountant and comptroller for 6 years, to owner and main instructor for a computer training company for 12 years, and as a rehab patient therapist as a speech language pathologist for cognition, speech and swallowing for 15 years. She has an MBA in Organizational Management from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Speech from the University of South Florida.
Everyone learns differently, and Dustie’s biggest concern about the common teaching environment is that it focuses on the teacher rather than the student. If a student doesn’t “get it”, it means the instructor hasn’t found the right way to present the material to that particular person. And if the student isn’t enjoying the learning process, it’s not going to be as successful as it could be. Adding enjoyment to each session is always her goal.
